Primary Classroom Support Staff
We are seeking a warm, dependable, and flexible Primary Classroom Support Staff member to join our Montessori community. This position supports our Primary program (ages 3–6) by helping create a calm, prepared environment where children and teachers can thrive. It is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, values collaboration, and is eager to contribute wherever support is needed.
Responsibilities include:

Filling in for classroom staff during absences

Providing additional support to individual children or classrooms

Assisting with arrival, dismissal, carline, and other transition times

Supporting playground supervision and special events

Supervising the lunch program in one classroom

Preparing snacks and facilitating the Kindergarten Specialist afternoon

Maintaining the staff workroom
-
Creating classroom materials and resources as requested
This position may be scheduled Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday mornings, with a full day on Thursday. It may also be paired with our After School Kids Club Coordinator position to create additional hours.

After School Kids Club Coordinator
We are seeking an organized, enthusiastic, and caring After School Kids Club Coordinator to lead our after-school program for elementary-aged children (ages 5–12). The coordinator creates a safe, engaging environment where children can relax, play, build friendships, and continue learning through meaningful experiences after the school day ends.
Responsibilities include:

Planning and facilitating engaging daily activities

Supervising children in a safe, respectful, and welcoming environment

Supporting children's social, emotional, and physical well-being
-
Building positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues
-
Helping coordinate and provide direction to support staff as needed

Maintaining a well-organized and smoothly run after-school program
This position is Monday through Friday from 3:00–6:00 p.m. and may be filled as a standalone role or combined with our Primary Classroom Support Staff position for additional daytime hours.
The ideal candidate is confident, flexible, collaborative, and able to work independently while responding thoughtfully to the changing needs of children. Most importantly, they have a deep respect for elementary-aged children and a desire to foster independence, curiosity, and community in a Montessori setting.
